Jesus paid the Price for Humanity
Jesus died to pay the penalty for human sin, bridge the separation between humanity and God, and demonstrate divine love. From a historical perspective, his death occurred because Roman authorities and local religious leaders viewed his growing influence and teachings as a threat. Theological Reasons to pay for sin: Christians believe that wrongdoing breaks relationship with God and requires a penalty, which Jesus took upon himself as a substitute.To show love: His death is seen as the ultimate proof of God’s love and mercy for the world.To conquer death: Believers hold that by dying and rising again, Jesus broke the power of death and secured eternal life for humanity.Historical Reasons Religious opposition: Jewish leaders in power challenged his authority, accused him of blasphemy, and handed him over to the Roman government.Political fear: Roman rulers feared his large following might spark an uprising or rebellion against the empire.

Jesus died for us to forgive our sins, reconcile us to God, and give us eternal life. Forgive Our Sins Jesus took the punishment we deserve so our wrongs are wiped clean. Bible Verse: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) Demonstrate God’s Love The cross proves how deeply and personally God loves imperfect people.
