The exact phrasing of this famous verse from Psalm 139:14 reads:”I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (NIV) Key Meanings Fearfully: In the original Hebrew language, this means to be made with great reverence, awe, and respect. It does not mean scary.
Wonderfully:
This means unique, set apart, and distinctively designed.
Now we as humans are woven with superseding greatness in the likeness of God himself: meaning with have the qualities to be healthy and Disease-free beings. But the spirit of doubts reduced our wellbeing to suffering under temptations.
This is not a curse. It is trail.
The only curses in history are as follows:Cain (The First Cursed Human) While Adam and Eve were not directly cursed, their firstborn son was. After Cain murdered his brother Abel, God placed a direct curse on him. The Scripture: “Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground…” (Genesis 4:11).2. Canaan (Noah’s Grandson) After the global flood, Noah became drunk, and his son Ham disrespected him. When Noah woke up, he pronounced a direct generational curse on Ham’s son, Canaan. The Scripture: “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.” (Genesis 9:25).3. The Entire Nation of Israel (The Corporate Curse) Before entering the Promised Land, God had Moses establish a massive system of blessings and curses. If the men and women of Israel disobeyed God’s laws, they would face severe corporate curses.
